Dr. Emily Dean has always been passionate about caring for other people. While obtaining her bachelor of science from Penn State University, Dr. Dean’s interest in the eye care industry started to grow. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Dean went to Illinois College of Optometry to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry.
During her schooling, Dr. Dean completed four clinical externships focusing on primary care, ocular disease, pediatrics, and contact lenses. Now Dr. Dean focuses on myopia control and aesthetic optometry.
Dr. Dean loves being able to work with and help her lovely patients in a field that is interesting and ever-evolving.
In her spare time, Dr. Dean enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with her husband Matt and their yellow lab Hugo.
